Thank you very much for this!
Maybe you can add the in total required salvaged tech?
If you had not already built the place I would say prove it. I found an Oxygen supply on a planet I was mining Indium so I started building the place a bit at a time, but today I went to put in a storage tank and the game was like NOPE your base is at MAX items and I was not close to your counts. So now I’m moving the Oxygen production to a new planet and we will see :)
The localised Complexity Limits are infuriating, luckily the newest patch that is currently only on BETA increases the amount of things you can place in an area which is fantastic, especially for console players.
A basic tip for it though is to spread out farms and built outward, completing what you are building as much as possible before building the next thing around it.
Having tested building Stasis Devices (the most valuable single item) and filled a 48 slot Exotic with them producing 4,014,196,608 Units @+7.2% (just below maximum Units allowed) I feel I need to say that building Circuit Boards is the most cost/time effective way of making that amount of units.. It takes slightly less than 15 hours of my actions i.e. 275,000,000 / hour of gameplay. The game takes 16 hours to set everything up for me to do another hours work. Stasis Devices require tons more time.
I had 4 Billion in the bank after setting all my Exotics as 48 Slots, so this was just an exercise on my part. It just isn’t worth it to try and make more money than you can actually spend. Stick with Circuit Boards only 4 components not the dozen or more of a Stasis Device. Als.o it doesn’t interfere with any other activities as you have 16 hours between rounds of harvesting. Collecting inadequate amounts of necessary gases requires action every hour and I doubt you can get round all the Harvesters in 1 hour. If you still want to do this, find systems with multiple planet types. It isn’t any quicker but less mind-numbing than teleporting all the time and you can feed different creatures.
Stasis Device and Fusion Ignitor are worth 78 million. They might be the most expense craftable items, but they are not the most expensive!
Starship AI Valves are worth 50 million each and you can store the same amount per slot as the above items (5 in a normal slot, 10 in cargo/freighter, 20 in storage units)
They are a good way to store wealth., you can have 1 billion dollars in a single storage slot.
Just to advise I had just under 4 Billion Units & 48 slots of 5 Stasis Devices is worth slightly over 4 Billion but if you take it to the bank what you get is -2,147,483,648 Units (my actual values. So they just stay there until something really expensive comes up. The most expensive thing I found was upgrading a 20/6 Exotic to 48/21. That would easily eat a Couple of Billion Units and change. I can do that so at least I’ll have something to show for the effort.
Try just selling a couple units worth under that number. For my economy, that was just 135 stasis devices. You’ll get your units.
it no good if u don’t have the teck.. to get started for us beginners this video does not help… when u fist start u don’t get million of units to start making thing soo start from the beginning
I watched your video and learned a few things, Thank you. However there is still the big nagging question. What do you need that much money for? I haven’t seen anything that costs that much. So far as upgrading ships inventories, You don’t need that much money, Unless you don’t want to bother buying and scrapping ships for the upgrades. Then i could see needing that much. But what else is there to spend your money on?
As for beginners, Which I still am, You can find a cave, and rack up as much cobalt as you can stand to mine. I started with 2300. Went to a space station and sold it all, Then i bought all the cobalt they had, And all the cobalt that the ship pilots had too. Then moved on to the next system and did it all again. After about fifteen jumps I started amassing a pretty sizable amount of money. Of course i carry everything i need to make hyperdrive fuel, So I wasn’t worried about running out. Today I did it again, And made 850 million in about an hour.
